They also are responsible for helping CVAB become a part of the larger community through networking with community and civic leaders. The majority of Directors always will be a majority of person’s disclosing they are experiencing mental health recovery. They are elected by CVAB’s members to three year terms.

CVAB Member Advisory Council
CVAB Members Advisory Council (MAC) meets once a month. It is made up of active members who have completed CVAB 101 and are wanting to participate in helping CVAB staff and Board make decisions that impact the Recovery Center, Warm Line, and future plans. As CVAB grows and establishes other sites, each will have a MAC.

CVAB Volunteers
CVAB volunteers are leaders in our community. There are many opportunities to volunteer at CVAB. Getting involved as a volunteer is as simple as going through CVAB 101, our 2-3 hour class that is offered a couple of times per month, and then choosing a role. Once you’ve decided on what you want to do, the staff work to support you through various means.
