Washington Certified Peer Training

Are you interested in becoming a certified peer counselor through the state of Washington?

CVAB is contracted with the Washington Healthcare Authority to provide trainings that are primarily for those seeking to be employed to work with adults in a behavioral health agency.

Trainings are hosted throughout the year in different areas of the state. To be eligible to attend a training you must first complete the online certified peer counseling course and then submit an application to the HCA to attend a training. Space is limited, and priority is given to those who are already employed as a peer and those volunteering in the field.

For more information visit the Washington Health Care Authority’s Website.
